MEDIATE FOR DIALOGUE project opened a vast opportunity for the young people to enhance their conflict management skills and learn about mediation techniques.

Local Armenian and Syrian Armenian young people came together to learn about conflict management and mediation, culture and identity, as well as overcome their stereotypes about each other and work side by side in a mutually respectful and understanding environment.

The training course took place in Gyumri, Armenia, October 30 through November 4, 2018.

The training course was based on non-formal education methods, most of the workshops were elaborated on using European Youth Foundation educational resources. The project participants learnt about the European Youth Foundation projects, programmes and priorities, as well as gained pilot-project development skills.
